  • This is it Grads! Today at lunch is your Last chance to buy Winter Formal tickets. Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime event!
  • Attention all students attending the Quebec trip- there will be a meeting Today at lunch in room 210.
  • All International students are invited to a lunch time meeting Today in the library. Pizza will be served
  • Can the following students come to the office at lunch and meet with Mrs. Hayden : Chris Hicban, Arthur DaFonseca, Abe Raavin, Bryan Campos, Kaedon Samy, Ty Meas, Marcelo Torres, Fernao Filho and Madison Wolfshoe.
  • Reminder to Grade 8 Interactors, we will be having a training session next Monday at lunch.
  • The Hugh Boyd Ultimate Team will be having its first meeting after school on Monday in Mr. Chan’s room 217. If you are interested in playing or want to learn more, come to the meeting on Monday.
  • Students are encouraged to sign up for next Wednesday’s Personal Learning Time session. Teachers have posted the green sign-up list outside of their classrooms. Spaces are limited for each teacher. A reminder that this is instructional time, so all students, Grade 8 through 12, need to sign-up for a session.
  • Attentions students who’ve applied to UBC AFTER DEC 3rd. The deadline to submit your PEN, if you haven’t already done so, and complete the student transcript from listing UBC is, January 31st. Please see your counsellor or Ms. Jones, the Career advisor ASAP if you require assistance.
  • If you have ordered Hugh Boyd sweatpants, you can now pick them up Today at lunch in the lounge.
  • Reminder to grade 12’s that the deadline to apply to Emily Carr and UBC is next Tues. January 15th. No applications will be accepted beyond this date.
  • Did you check out a Reading Riot book over the holidays? Be sure to return them by the due date so that you can take out more! And don’t forget to submit your ballot. The first draw prize will be held Today. Come and have a look at the available books in the library learning commons.
  • Mrs. Korber is hosting a Personal Project work block, with support, in the library on Jan. 16 in PLT. There are 40 spots and sign up is outside Room 208.
