Effective March 30th, the provincial government has suspended all in-class instruction until further notice. This means that students will not be returning to school after spring break.
As teachers and schools need time to prepare for this new reality, while also maintaining safe physical distancing in the school to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus, it will take some time to organize. It is understandable that for students and parents, there will be questions about how teaching and learning will look as we move forward. We appreciate the patience of our Boyd students and parents through this challenging time. Communication will be forthcoming through the school website, our My School Day app, and email.
We are aware that some students may need to pick up belongings at school. During the week of March 30th - April 3rd, our school will be providing details on how students or parents can make an appointment to pick up these belongings after April 6th, 2020. If there is an item of significance that students need to get from school or their locker, they will have to contact the office to make an appointment.
Thank you and please continue to follow all of the important public health recommendations, and stay safe.
