  • The Hugh Boyd League of Legends team competed in BC's very first competitive high school e-sports league this year. The team completed the regular season with a 10-6 record and will now advance to the playoffs to compete for the provincial championship. Good luck Trojans!

 

  • Hey Hugh Boyd students, are you interested in joining Medical field or First Aid? Come join the Hugh Boyd First Responders Club. We are not recruiting for next year’s teams! Please come to Mrs. Rama’s class room #235 for more information.

 

  • This is the last week of National Poetry Month! Come down to the library to check out the slam poetry display, and try writing and performing one of your own! Richmond Public Library is also running their annual Teen Poetry Contest. Please see posters around the school and outside the library for detailsr

 

  • Richmond, BC – The City of Richmond is seeking input from youth aged 13-24 years, their parents or guardians and those who work with youth to inform the development of the 2021-2031 Richmond Youth Strategy. This new Youth Strategy will provide the City and those working with youth with an important framework to support and meet the unique needs of youth in Richmond. The public is invited to share their experience and thoughts on the unique needs and priorities of youth in Richmond. Those who are interested in sharing feedback, including youth and young adults, their family members and those working with youth in Richmond, are encouraged to visit LetsTalkRichmond.ca to learn more and complete the online survey. The survey will be available until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, 2021.

  • Registration for summer school are open for both Richmond Virtual school and Richmond Continuing Education online. Check their websites @ https://ce.sd38.bc.ca/ and @ https://rvs.sd38.bc.ca/  Due to demand, interested students should start shopping around, create an account (CE) to be ready and register early.
