Food Studies: Baking 11 And 12

Course Description

This is an advanced course is designed for students who enjoy baking as a hobby or as a future career. Emphasis will be placed on baking skills and practices and theory. Students will have the opportunity to exercise their creativity and artistic skills through the exploration of different types of recipes and ingredients. Unit topics will include the preparation of breads, pastries, cookies and cake decorating.
