Dear Hugh Boyd families,

I hope you are enjoying the last couple of weeks of a restful summer.

I am reaching out to share an update regarding Hugh Boyd’s Administrative team.

I am feeling much better and have returned from my Leave of Absence. I will not be returning to Hugh Boyd, however, having been reassigned to McRoberts Secondary as Principal effective Monday, August 25^th.  

It has been a privilege to work alongside the dedicated staff, students, and families at Hugh Boyd Secondary School for the past four and a half years.  It is a great school because of the people who make this community so strong. I live in this neighbourhood and have loved being part of this school community and seeing the positive impact on our students every day.

Rosalind Poon will continue to serve as Acting Principal, ensuring continuity and strong leadership for the school community.

Thank you for your support and partnership. I have greatly appreciated the kindness, care, and well-wishes when I have seen several of you in the community.

I wish you and your children all the very best for the year ahead.
