Following active, informal discussions with students and staff over the first 3 months of PLT, Boyd made some tweaks to how students could utilize this block of time. Initially, all students had to sign-in with an enrolling teacher. Upon return from Spring Break, a decision was made to give Grade 11 and 12 students the opportunity to sign-in with any teacher. This was in part due to recognition of senior students' established relationships with a number of teachers from their high school experience.

For students in Grades 8 - 10, PLT was occasionally used for whole grade pullout sessions. Our focused Grade 8 Boyd Resiliency Program, led by a counsellor and resource teacher, was now utilizing PLT to deliver these sessions.
