Student Notice - Feb 22, 2022

  • The Hugh Boyd Ultimate Frisbee Team will be holding tryouts after school this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Meet us out on the turf field! If you can throw a disc the length of the field: Show us! If you've never even heard of Ultimate before: We can teach you! Players of all levels are welcome!

 

  • Any Grade-9 (boys?) interested in playing volleyball this spring, tryouts are today and tomorrow right after school from 3-4:30! Come find Tai, Eddie or Elymar for any questions. 

 

  • Any Grade-8 (boys?) wanting to play volleyball, tryouts are on Wednesday and Thursday, 3-4:30 in the old gym! Find Zach or Andrei for any questions.

 

  • Attention ALL Basketball teams, I repeat, attention ALL Basketball players: please meet in the New Gym at the start of Lunch for your Team Photo-Op for Yearbook! Bring your uniforms and if you've already handed them in, Mrs. Hayden will have them there for you for the pictures. See you there!

 

  • Good luck to our Senior Boys Basketball team who has their first Playoff Game tonight at McNeill against Richmond High! Go Trojans Go!

 

  • Lego Club is on Wednesday! We have Lego sets ready to be played with! Meet you at the MakerSpace room at Lunch on Wednesday!

 

  • What’s up trojans, your Hugh Boyd marketing class is putting on a marketing expo today! We have a wide variety of products including snacks, bracelets, socks, phone chains, and bubble tea! Come down to the lounge all this week and visit us! We can’t wait to see you!

 

  • Attention basketball players, your uniforms are OVERDUE! Grade 8 boys, Junior Girls, please hand in your uniforms into the office ASAP. Mrs. Hayden will find you.

 

  • Students who need to log into Myed MUST use a computer, NOT A cell phone! Once you log into the computer, it will prompt you to reset a new password that should contain letter, number and symbols. Please ensure you change your password correctly and save it in a secured place. You will need this password to view your report card and complete your course selection which is due this Friday. If you forgot your log in and password, please come to the office.  

 

  • Tomorrow is pink shirt day! Wear pink to support antibully and join us in the lounge at lunch to see your student council execs get pied in the face.
