Student Notices - Nov 28, 2022

  • Just an FYI, the library will be closed at 3:30 this week. We are open 8AM to 3:30 PM this week. We will be back to regular programming and open until 4PM next week. Thank you for understanding!

 

  • Attention Library Monitors: Come to the library at lunch today for a brainstorming session for how to decorate the library doors for the Christmas door decorating competition.

 

  • We have an exciting opportunity in Richmond to have author David Alexander Robertson in for a virtual visit on Tuesday November 29th in block B. If you are on your study block or have teacher permission, please come down to the library learning commons to listen to this prolific Indigenous author of graphic novels such as The Reckoner Rises and Seven Generations series, and novels such as the Misewa Saga series and Reckoners series, and many more. Come down to the library to have a look at his books!

 

  • Grade 11s and 12s who didn’t get a chance to buy their black and white dance tickets. The tickets are now being sold in the lounge from Monday to Friday during lunch! Tickets will not be sold at the door on Friday, so make sure you get yours at lunch!

 

  • Breaking Down the Walls workshops is happening next week!  The program will run from Monday, December 5-Wednesday, December 7, 2022. All students will participate in a school-wide assembly on Monday, December 5.  Students can also choose to participate in an all-day workshop on either Tuesday, December 6 or Wednesday, December 7 all day workshop.  Sign up with a friend! If you have any questions, please speak to Mr. Onukwulu, Ms. Mahli or Ms. Poon in the office.
